By accessing or using this Website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

These Terms govern your use of canadian-athletes.com only.

Premium recruiting services, athlete profiles, recruiting support, coach outreach, fees, payment terms, guarantees, and related service obligations may be provided by our recruiting partner, StudBud, and are governed by a separate agreement entered into directly between the athlete/family and StudBud.

1. Use of the Website

You may use this Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;
• infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of another person or organization;
• submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website, server, account, or related system;
• interfere with the normal operation or security of the Website;
• use automated systems, scraping tools, or similar technologies in a manner that may damage or interfere with the Website.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

3. Athlete Profiles and StudBud Services

Athlete profiles, recruiting dashboards, coach outreach, profile management, recruiting support, negotiations, and related premium recruiting services may be provided through StudBud.

StudBud operates and controls its athlete profile platform and is responsible for the services provided under its separate client agreement.

If you choose to proceed with a StudBud recruiting program, additional information may be requested directly by StudBud. The collection, use, storage, publication, and management of that information is governed by the applicable StudBud agreement and privacy practices.

Canadian Athletes’ Website Terms do not replace or modify the terms of any agreement entered into between an athlete/family and StudBud.

4. Minors and Parent/Guardian Involvement

Canadian Athletes’ recruiting services are primarily intended for student-athletes aged 15 and older.

We do not knowingly offer recruiting-profile services to children under the age of 13.

Where an athlete is under 18, a parent or legal guardian should be involved in the recruiting process. Paid recruiting services for a minor require the appropriate parent or guardian participation and agreement as required by StudBud.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in communications, consultations, and decisions relating to a minor athlete’s recruiting process.

5. Recruiting Information and Outcomes

Information provided on this Website is intended for general informational and marketing purposes.

College recruiting outcomes depend on many factors outside the control of Canadian Athletes or StudBud, including:

• athletic performance;
• academic eligibility;
• coach and program requirements;
• roster availability;
• admissions decisions;
• scholarship budgets;
• athlete responsiveness and participation in the recruiting process;
• changes in NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, college, or other applicable rules.

Canadian Athletes does not guarantee:

• admission to a particular college or university;
• placement on a particular team or roster;
• recruitment by a particular coach or institution;
• a specific scholarship amount;
• a particular athletic, academic, or recruiting outcome.

6. Money-Back Guarantee

Certain StudBud recruiting programs may include a Money-Back Guarantee, subject to eligibility requirements, athlete/family responsibilities, program conditions, and the applicable StudBud service agreement.

Any Money-Back Guarantee referenced on canadian-athletes.com is provided and administered by StudBud.

The complete eligibility requirements, payment conditions, exclusions, responsibilities, and other terms applicable to the guarantee are provided as part of the relevant StudBud service agreement and may be discussed during the initial consultation.

References to a Money-Back Guarantee on this Website do not constitute a guarantee of admission, scholarship amount, roster placement, or any particular recruiting outcome.

7. Third-Party Websites and Services

This Website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, booking systems, recruiting services, or other external resources.

These may include services operated by StudBud or other third-party providers.

When you leave canadian-athletes.com and use a third-party website or service, your use of that service is subject to the third party’s own:

• terms and conditions;

• data practices;
• service agreements.

Canadian Athletes does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, security, or operation of third-party websites or services.
